This Privacy Policy describes how EatForSure ("we", "us", "our") collect, use, share, and protect your personal information when you use our mobile application and related services (the "Platform"). The Platform enables food ordering, FMCG/grocery (product) ordering, pick-and-drop services, and delivery within designated areas.

We operate only in India. Your personal data is primarily stored and processed in India. You may browse limited parts of the Platform without registering; full use of ordering, delivery and account features requires registration.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information that you provide and information we obtain from your use of the Platform.

Account and profile information:

• Name, mobile number, email address
• Profile details you choose to provide (e.g. profile photo if you add one)
• User type (e.g. customer, delivery personnel) where applicable

Address and location:

• Delivery and billing addresses you save
• Location information if you grant permission (e.g. to show nearby outlets or delivery zones), or area/pin code you select

Order and transaction information:

• Food orders, product (FMCG/grocery) orders, and pick-and-drop orders you place
• Order details (items, quantities, special instructions, delivery preferences)
• Transaction IDs, payment status, and related information (payment details are handled by the payment provider)

Communication and support:

• Feedback you send to us

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Create and manage your account and authenticate you
• Process and fulfil your orders (food, product, pick-and-drop) and coordinate with restaurants, stores, and delivery personnel
• Facilitate payments and refunds through our payment partners
• Communicate with you about orders, delivery status, and account-related matters
• Send you promotional messages, offers and updates (you may opt out where we offer that choice)
• Improve the Platform, fix errors, and analyse usage patterns
• Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security issues
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Use and other policies

4. Sharing of Information

We may share your information in the following circumstances:

• Restaurants, stores and delivery partners: To fulfil orders, we share relevant order and delivery details (e.g. name, contact number, delivery address, order contents) with the outlet and the person delivering your order.
• Payment providers: When you pay, your payment-related data is processed by our payment service providers (e.g. UPI/payment aggregators). Their use of your data is governed by their privacy policies.

5. Security

We implement reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction, in line with applicable Indian law and industry practices. Access to personal data is restricted to those who need it for legitimate business purposes.

6. Data Retention

We retain your personal data only for as long as necessary to provide our services, comply with legal obligations (e.g. tax, dispute resolution), resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. We may retain certain data for longer where required by law or for legitimate purposes such as fraud prevention. After retention periods expire, we delete or anonymise data so it no longer identifies you. Anonymised data may be retained for analytics and improvement.

• Correct: Update or correct your profile and address information through the app or by contacting us
• Delete: Request deletion of your account and associated data. You can request account deletion via the in-app option (e.g. Profile/Settings) or by using the Delete Account process or writing to us
• Withdraw consent: Where we rely on your consent (e.g. for certain marketing), you may withdraw it by writing to us with the subject line "Withdrawal of consent for processing personal data". Withdrawal will not affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal and may limit our ability to provide some services

8. Children

The Platform is not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe we have collected data of a minor, please contact us so we can delete it.
